The Spring Collection

AlliumThese ornamental onions make a bold statement in the garden or in an arrangement.  We currently grow purple Ambassador alliums but look forward to significantly expanding our collection in 2022!

DelphiniumThese showy spikes of color are one of our favorite garden blooms.  It actually pains us just a bit to cut it but we love sharing these magnificent blooms.   We grow blue, lavender, white and soft pink delphinum.

DELPHINIUM

Iceland PoppiesThese delicate crepe-like blooms come in a variety of beautiful colors from creamy white to salmone-orange and yellow or red.  We also grow a variety known as Amazing Grey, which is a soft greyish lavender.

SnapdragonThese statuesque stems packed with velvety flowers come in a range of vivid colors.  They grace our gardens and hoop houses with their presence fron early spring through the summer.

Sweet PeaNostalic and fragrant like no other flower, sweet peas introduce spring with a whimsical flare.  We grow over 20 varieties of sweet peas covering the full color spectrum.

AnemoneRepresenting unfading love, these romantic blooms are a spring delicacy and bring an irresistible sense of nostalgia.  We grow three varieties of anemones in the full spectrum of colors.

ANEMONE

DianthusAlso known as Sweet William, this cottage garden staple has a light spicy fragrance.  Its dense head of of colorful florets makes a beautiful floral complement.  We grow all colors from late spring to mid summer.

PeonyOne of our favorite flowers to grow!  We have over 500 peony plants on the farm representing 10 different varieties.  We look forward to May each year when these big fluffy bowls of blooms arrive.

PEONIES

StockKnown for their sweet scent, stock symbolizes lasting beauty with their stems covered in ruffled florets.  We grow this cool-weather beauty in our climate-controlled greenhouse.

ConvallariaCommonly known as Lily of the Valley, convallaria is a petite but profound testament to spring and a popular element in many bridal bouquets.  Their brief appearance makes them even more precious.

CONVALLARIA

FoxgloveThese regal stalks full of trumpet blooms have graciously ruled over our pool garden for years and are now making their way into our cutting field.  They make a show-stopping late spring display.

PolygonatumCommonly known as Solomon’s Seal, this shade-loving plant produces a long stem of white bell flowers in the spring which make a lovely addition to arrangements.  We harvest the leaves the rest of the year for greenery.
